In total, a sample of 3503 patients undergoing their first frozen blastocyst transfer through a frozen embryo transfer cycle with hormone replacement therapy (HRT) was analysed. Of these, 140 women had a confirmed diagnosis of adenomyosis based on the criteria of the MUSA consensus group (ultrasound assessment of uterine morphology).<\/p>\n<p>The results show that patients with adenomyosis were more likely to undergo a frozen embryo transfer compared to women without adenomyosis and more likely to receive pre-treatment with GnRH agonists.
