Yesterday, the auditorium of the Hospital Universitari Dexeus hosted the ceremony commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Healthcare Ethics Committee (CEA) of the QuirónSalud hospitals, Hospital Universitari Dexeus, Centro Médico Teknon-Hopital QuirónSalud Barcelona and Hospital El Pilar.

The conference was attended by Dr Marc Antoni Broggi, a renowned specialist in bioethics, who gave a lecture entitled: ‘A changing medicine. New professional goals and responsibilities’, moderated by
Dr Montse Boada, current vice-president of the CEA.

The CEA plays an important role in resolving ethical conflicts, always respecting the values of the parties involved. Biologists Montse Boada and Clara Gonzalez from Dexeus Mujer-Hospital Universitari Dexeus have been part of the CEA since its creation.
