The Dexeus Mujer Group has been awarded this year by CECOT in the Digital Transformation category for the services sector for its strategic plan in this field, which has made it possible to optimize both the working conditions of its professionals and the care provided to patients.
The changes brought about by this plan include the incorporation of systems based on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) that analyse patients’ comments and opinions to identify emotional factors and areas for improvement.
Tools have also been implemented that automatically transcribe medical visits into the medical record, lightening the administrative burden and enhancing the doctor-patient relationship.
Furthermore, its assisted reproduction laboratories are equipped with time-lapse incubators, which allow the development of embryos to be monitored and incorporate algorithm-based software to select those considered to have the best conditions for success. This helps professionals to standardise the selection process based on objective criteria and save valuable working time. In addition, patients can observe the development of their embryos remotely via the Dexeus Mujer app, which improves their experience and perception of the support they receive throughout the reproductive process.
According to Domènec Far, Director of Technology and Digital Transformation at Dexeus Mujer, the award represents much more than recognition, ‘as it confirms that we are heading in the right direction and highlights the value of the digital transformation strategy focused on humanising technology that we launched in 2020’.
The award ceremony took place on October 13 during the 30th edition of “La Nit de l’Empresa,” organized by CECOT and held this year in Terrassa. Dr Montse Boada, Head of the Biology Section at the Dexeus Mujer Laboratories, and Domenec Far, the Group’s Director of Technology and Digital Transformation, attended the event to receive the award.
