Referring patients

Specialized care at Dexeus Mujer

The members of the Faculty of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproduction of Dexeus Mujer – Hospital Universitari Dexeus, will attend in a personalized way to patients referred by external professionals for specialized diagnoses or treatments.
Patients may be referred for:

  • Carrying out specific surgeries, with the possibility that the referring doctor is present in the operating theatre during the patient’s intervention.
  • Assisted Human Reproduction Treatments.
  • High-level diagnostics in cytology, ultrasound, and hysteroscopy.
  • Any other treatment / procedure performed in our department.


The Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproduction will provide the referring doctor with all the information and tools necessary to be able to follow the case at all times. Once the treatment is finished, a detailed report of the diagnosis and treatment carried out will be sent.

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproduction of Dexeus Mujer is firmly committed to returning the patient to her usual clinician (referring doctor) once the treatment for which the patient had been referred to Dexeus Mujer has been completed.
