The annual Prize given by the Dexeus Mujer Foundation is international in nature and rewards people related to women’s health who, through their professional or social work, have made a valuable contribution or have a notable career.

The candidatures must be presented by academies, cultural and research centres, universities, scientific societies and other institutions or personalities. Those nominations submitted by those who request the award for themselves or for the organizations they represent are excluded.

The nominations proposed must accredit among their merits that of having the maximum exemplary character and demonstrating the significance of their work.

Call for the XIX Dexeus Mujer Foundation Prize - Year 2024

  • Prize awarded to the person, persons, research team or institution whose professional trajectory or continued line of research has made an outstanding contribution to the field of the Health Sciences, especially in reference to women and particularly in the area of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine.
  • The PRIZE is international in nature.
  • The Prize consists of an accredited certificate and an endowment of 7.500 Euros. In the case of a tie, the Prize will be equally shared between the prizewinners. In order to receive the certificate and endowment, the prizewinner must collect the prize in person at the prize giving ceremony.

  1. PRIZE granted to the person, people, work team or institution whose professional career or line of continuous research represents a relevant contribution in the field of Health Sciences, especially referring to women and particularly in the field of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine.
  2. The PRIZE is international in nature.
  3. The PRIZE will have its own jury, made up of the members of the Scientific Committee of the Dexeus Mujer Foundation. Subsequently, the members awarded in the previous calls may be added to this Jury.
  4. The candidatures will be presented by academies, cultural and research centres, universities, scientific societies and other institutions and personalities, whom the members of the Jury invite to do so
  5. Those nominations submitted by those who request the prize for themselves or for the organizations they represent will be excluded.
  6. The nominations proposed must accredit among their merits that of having the maximum exemplary character and demonstrating the significance of their work.
  7. The Dexeus Mujer Foundation or, by delegation of it, the Jury, will not take into consideration the candidatures that do not meet these essential requirements.
  8. Those interested in opting for this Award must make the corresponding application exclusively by e-mail to the address fundacion@dexeus.com, attaching the application form, where the detailed instructions and the application form will be found which must be used, duly filled-in and with a detailed statement of the extraordinary merits of the candidacy and its significance.
  9. Deadline for nominations, will be 29 November 2024 at 10:00 p.m.
  10. Applications that do not meet the above requirements will not be admitted. In any case, the documentation presented will not be returned, nor will there be any correspondence on it. All applications received will be anonymous, except for the name of the winner, which will be announced in due course.
  11. It is the responsibility of the president of the Jury to organize and direct the deliberations and, where appropriate, the votes that take place.
  12. The voting system will be established in such a way as to promote until the end the successive election of the candidates preferred by the majority of the Jury. For this purpose, the vote must always be expressed in a positive sense.
  13. The vote cannot be delegated and must be cast personally by each of the members of the Jury, at the time the vote is taken. In each of the votes that, where appropriate, are held, only those who have been present in the deliberation that preceded it may participate. The PRIZE will be given to the candidacy that obtains the majority of votes from the Jury. The President will have a casting vote.
  14. The PRIZE consists of an accrediting diploma and a cash endowment of 7,500 Euros. If this PRIZE is shared, each winner will receive a proportional part of its amount. In order to receive the certificate and endowment, the prizewinner must collect the prize in person at the prize giving ceremony.
  15. The taxation of the PRIZE is subject to current tax legislation and is the responsibility of the winner.
  16. The documentation must be submitted in Spanish or, if submitted in a foreign language, accompanied by its corresponding translation into Spanish.
  17. The Jury’s decision will be final and will be communicated to the interested parties in writing, immediately after its decision.
  18. The place and date of delivery of the PRIZE will be announced well in advance.
  19. The Dexeus Mujer Foundation fully complies with current legislation on the protection of personal data and, specifically, maintains the commitment of confidentiality on any data provided.
  20. Competing in this DEXEUS MUJER FOUNDATION PRIZE implies acceptance of these regulations.
